This book is an open format collection of illustrated lessons in art, philosophy, and life by 36 world famous 'tutors' including Marina Abramović, Carol Bove, Ólafur Elíason, Liam Gillick, Dan Graham, Miranda July, Bob Nickas, and Richard Wentworth. The book operates like the student's personal lessons folder, with the collected images and texts from each tutor assembled in a string closure cardboard binder. The individual nature of each lesson invited different styles, although the overall aesthetics—materials, typography, colors, and structure—is inspired by office filing folders.
